Jeclin fasteners are perfect for cleanroom and vacuum applications.
In addition to the name, the increased production capacity is also new. A production robot has been purchased to ensure the drilling work is less labour-intensive. The robot also processes items at a higher rate, and can drill all night long if required. Why drilling? Many fasteners are vented and this means that they have a groove or hole that allows air to escape when the item ends up in a sealed hole. This is important, because any air that is still present behind the item contaminates the vacuum. This is referred to as a ‘virtual leak’, and you really do not want this type of leak.
Jeclin fasteners are available in a variety of materials and finishes. They are also deployed in diverse settings and industries - and not just when a vacuum or an ultra-high vacuum is required.
Jeclin fasteners are also used under ‘standard’ cleanroom conditions where purity and elimination of outgassing are important. Although they are special fasteners, they do continue to be simply fasteners - products on which you do not want to spend too much time.
The turnaround time required to produce Jeclin from the basic product is 6 to 12 weeks, depending on the finishing. Because no one really wants to wait that long for just a screw, Jeveka has made significant investments and we hold a stock that is as complete as possible.
Alongside Jeclin, a completely new hexagon socket head screw has also been launched that is made of stainless steel, with a tensile strength of more than 900 N/mm² under the name of Jextar.
